YEAR 3

Teaching in a school like Sirius College, teachers feel a certain bond with many of the students and know it will be sad to say “Goodbye” now that another school year ends.

In 2019, students have experienced changes and made new discoveries in their learning lives, all of which they’ve added to their individual learning toolkits.

As we take this summer break from school, be mindful of some practical pointers e.g.

• The impact on children of long periods of time using digital technology. There is much more to life than being connected 24/7. They should be encouraged to regularly participate in other life choices.
• In our time together, we have all formed strong relationships with each other. So why not try and catch up with your school friends over the holidays. Invite them over.
• Take the time to visit some of our beautiful and iconic places of our surroundings.
• As you are out and about, remember to “Slip, slop, slap, slide and seek” as we are in for some very hot days this summer.
• Stay cool by drinking water only as it is the best for our learning brains.

To all the parents, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. Without that, Sirius College would not be the same. You have worked closely with us and we appreciate this.

The time spent with you and your child will always be a treasure of memories for me.
